Practice Makes Perfect
May is the month where we work on our shooting form and discipline. Every Monday and Thursday you’ll find our students working to develop the skills to move up to the next level. Our dedicated volunteers give their time so that when that “fall moment” arrives our students are ready. Special thanks to Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays and North End Rod and Gun Club for their support. One of our level one students remarked “this beats video games!” Enough said.
TIME TO RELOAD
After 40 hours of committed work (and yes we mean 40) the students pictured above EARNED their Pennsylvania state hunter safety certificate. All students are still a year away from physically going hunting BUT will be training to do just that for the next year. Congratulations to these inner-city students that beat the odds!
Girls VS Turkeys
We started our Easter break with an all girl turkey hunt. The weather was good and our turkey guns were ready to go. The girls decided to pull out all of the stops and hunted harder than anyone expected. “It was the time of my life!” one girl stated. Pipelineridge.com was our host for the event and special thanks to trulockchokes.com, and eastcoastvisions.com for help with our turkey guns.
A MEMORABLE EVENT!
The Easten Sports Show hosted our unique event on Sat. Feb 13th. The Pennsylvania Taxidermy Association rewarded our hard working students with the moounted game heads and was it a day to remember. Click here for photos of the special day.
