Home for the holidays!

Team Mayhem stepped in again this time to offer two graduate students from Camp Compass a special reward.  Vicky is headed to intern with Disney in January and Allie is home from college in California. 

Early rising in Virginia

Two more of our students were guests of Randy Birch for a waterfowl trip in Virginia during the holiday break.  The boys enjoyed an experience of a lifetime.

Sea Ducking!

Saturday found us on Tilghman Island, MD learning about its deep waterfowling history and hunting sea ducks courtesy of  hunt donor Bob Valimont and Capt. Lawrence Tyler.  The day was filled with lots of action and the weather was flat out cold but bearable.  One of our students said it was the best trip of his Camp Compass career.

They do come back!

It’s the most asked question we get.  Do any kids come back to help.  Well the answer is an emphatic YES, THEY DO!  We have the camera footage to prove it.  Deer Season started and Pipeline Ridge hosted a Camp Compass hunt with two of our graduates mentoring two current students.  mossy oak joined in the mix by taping the event for a future televison show.

Saturday September 19^th greeted us with a cool morning and lots of ducks buzzing us early (NO SKYBUSTING!).
