Every once in a lifetime a truly unique idea challenges us to give back.  Your chance is here.  Let’s face it, the success of the Academy depends upon individuals that care about  it, its kids and it’s mission.  It’s time we start to ask for those like minded individuals, that believe in our fight, to pick up a torch and walk beside current torch bearers.  If  YOU want to help us by spreading the word through community events and via the world wide web and can help us find the much needed dollars to keep our doors open please fill in the contact form and we’ll get you set up to become an Academy Ambassador.

Ambassador Program Details

Are you someone who is passionate about helping children climb out of  born to circumstances, and would like to do more, without having to make a big commitment? Then you should consider joining Camp Compass Academy’s Ambassador Program. Our Ambassadors are a network of people that are dedicated to showing others how little it can take to help a child to get outdoors, by promoting Camp Compass’s work and message.  The Ambassador Program is for people who are willing to start the ripples by spreading the word about Camp Compass Academy. The Camp Compass Ambassador Program utilizes volunteers across the United States and Canada that are willing to give their time and talents to share the Camp Compass mission and assist with raising funds. The Camp Compass Ambassador Program is an opportunity for a volunteer(s) to be a liaison between Camp Compass Academy and the community. Ambassadors participate in events, tradeshows and exhibits as representatives of our organization.

Promote Camp Compass Academy’s concept

Get people to visit the website

Sign up Sponsors and Members

Create their own fundraisers

Find new Ambassadors

 If you are interested in being a part of this movement, please contact the academy.  We will send you an Ambassador Package which includes:

-an interactive CD outlining Camp Compass (more upon request)

-Electronic files of min-posters that can be printed and displayed

-25 membership brochures (upon request)

-coin box (upon request) Most people make their own.

-Copy of John’s Book to share with potential sponsors (upon request)

-10 Thank You Postcards for follow up (upon request)

You may use the contents of this packet in a variety of ways. Here are a couple examples of how people have used them so far:

-Send emails to all your friends, family members, co-workers, etc regarding Camp Compass and how you are trying to help. Ask them for their donations and tell them you will send them further information a as a thanks for their donation. Some people do all of the change found in their car day.

-Set up a table at a local event (church, school, community, etc). Make pamphlets available for people who are interested and collect spare change w/ a mini-poster going to donors.

-Set up a sponsorship program for an activity which you enjoy (running a certain distance, kayaking a certain distance, biking a certain distance, jumping a certain number of times with a jump-rope, fasting for a certain number of hours, etc). Special rewards can be given to theses individuals—please call to discuss.

The possibilities are truly endless. You are only limited by your own imagination!

*If people make check donations, please have them made payable to “Camp Compass” with “your name ” on the memo line.

It’s wonderful to know that you’re doing something to help someone less fortunate! We hope that you will take a little time and effort to spread the word and give the children of Camp Compass Academy a reason to continue smiling!
